Filter Cells by Colour

Hi All

If you have ever wanted to filter or sort this data based on the formatting you might still be looking for answers because there isn't any inbuilt function or formula in Excel . I have made three simple custom formulas which will help you get a unique number for the font colour, cell colour or bold format.

Hi Karthik,

Just happened to browse through Orkut and endedup finding your blog and your file on tracking of investments.

Its a well made file, and it happens that i too have developed one in excel to track my own investments, but never got someone to comment on it. I will send you the file i have created and possibly seek your comments if i can imporove it further. Of course i am not a master of VBS just lerning the tricks of the trade with the assistance of the net. You could help me out to improve on my skills a bit. I too happene to be a business analyst, in the retail field and finance about 5/6 yrs back. And am keen to get back into it. I am based and work in Kuwait.
